Europeiske’s insurance for expatriates will cover the expatriates 24/7 during the assignment period, regardless of the expatriate station. Furthermore, the insurance will be valid for all necessary business trips to all countries, including relocation trips to other expatriate destinations/stations.
It will be up to the company to decide what is necessary or not. The insurance coverage will be as usual, which means that medical expenses due to sudden illness or accident will be paid for. This also includes medical treatment due to COVID-19 infections.
When it comes to private trips (holiday and leisure trips), the insurance will not cover when there are local travel restriction, either from the country you travel from or the country you travel to – or both.
