Senior is a personal insurance policy that provides financial and medical support in the event of illness or injury, tailored for people over 60.

If you suffer one of the selected illnesses or injuries covered by the policy — such as cancer, brain or spinal tumour, stroke, heart surgery, amputation or severe burns — you will receive a lump-sum payment of NOK 100,000, which you are free to use as you wish – for example, for treatment not covered by the public healthcare system or for extra help and support at home during a period of illness.

In addition, the insurance provides:

NOK 30,000 in compensation in the event of serious fractures that require hospital admission
NOK 350 per day in daily allowance for hospital stays exceeding 72 hours

The insurance can be purchased up until the age of 75 and kept for life.
