The insurance covers everything you own in your home, up to NOK 300,000, for example in case of theft, water damage or fire.

With annual travel insurance, you are covered on both short and long trips anywhere in the world.

The insurance covers:

• Trip cancellation

• Travel delays

• Theft or damage to luggage

• Illness or accident while travelling

Maximum travel duration:
If you have If Start, your travel insurance is valid for trips lasting up to 45 days.
If you have If Start Super, you can travel for up to 60 days.
Travel days are counted from the day you leave your home address until the day you return. You can take as many trips as you like.

If your bicycle is stolen, you can receive compensation of up to NOK 40,000. This also applies to e-bikes.

With If Start, you also get benefits as a student.

Study interruption
If you must interrupt your studies due to illness or accident, you may be reimbursed tuition fees up to NOK 100,000.

Medical transport home
Covers transportation back to your home country from your place of study abroad in case of serious illness or accident.

If you experience an acute psychological crisis as a result of illness or injury covered by the insurance, it covers up to 10 therapy sessions with a psychologist, with no deductible.

If you’re injured in an accident — for example while skiing, cycling, or in a traffic accident — the insurance covers medical treatment costs.

For severe and lasting injury, compensation up to NOK 1 million is paid.

If you fall ill or get injured while travelling, you can quickly get help via video consultation with a doctor.
Typical cases include flu, rashes, sunburn or minor cuts — and the doctor can issue prescriptions valid within the EU if needed. The service is completely free.

If your flight is delayed by more than one hour, you and up to four companions get free access to an airport lounge. If the airport has no lounge, you’ll receive EUR 40 per person instead.

Covers accidental damage to your belongings. For example, if you spill coffee on your laptop or sit on your sunglasses, we’ll cover the repair or replacement.

Accidental damage is covered worldwide up to NOK 40,000. You only pay a NOK 2,000 deductible.

We help you remove pests and insects from your home quickly and efficiently.
This can include transporting your bed and other infested furniture to a freezing facility to eliminate the problem.

Pests and insects may include bedbugs, cockroaches, silverfish, mice, and rats.
The insurance applies to your residence in Norway and covers costs up to NOK 100,000.

The insurance does not cover structural damage or removal of dead pests within the building structure.

Reimburses the deductible you must pay as a renter if you damage a rental car, camper, motorcycle, bicycle, or lose the corresponding key.
The coverage applies to holidays with at least one overnight stay.

The rental vehicle must have both third-party liability (TPL) and collision damage waiver (CDW) insurance from the rental company, and the deductible must be stated in the rental agreement.
