Insurance covers

The insurance does not cover illness that was known prior to your travel. However, if your condition acutely and unexpectedly deteriorates during your journey and you need medical treatment in a hospital, please contact our assistance partner for further assistance.

The insurance starts when you leave your home adress and ends when you return back home. Most of these insurances also has coverage for leisure trips. Please check your insurance documents for this coverage, or you can contact our customer center or your employer.

Please note that the insurance is not valid when you are home or at work/school.

Please contact your employer before travelling to risk areas to make sure your insurance cover is eligible. The war risk areas are not covered in general but can be covered with an optional insurance coverage that your employer can select.

The insurance does not cover examination costs due to normal pregnancy, but unforeseen complications and treatment are covered. However, we do not cover any pregnancy-related expenses after week 36.
