Before you travel

Before going on a business trip it is beneficial to ensure that your passport is valid. Some countries require that your passport is valid for 180 days after entry. Visa and/or insurance certificates are required for entry into a few specific countries.

If you travel to a country that requires visa make sure you apply well in advance. We always recommend that you check the current travel restrictions for your destination.

In order to find you insurance number you can contact your employer.

You can download the Europeiske app from App Store or Google Play. If this does not work you can contact our customer center or your employer.

Remember to apply for the general visa application for China and USA before you travel. Make sure you have the contact information to our assistance partner.

China: You will need a visa. You will have to fill out an application and give your fingerprint. Also you need an invitation from the company you are going to visit in China with specified information such as name, passport number, dates. You can see more here.

USA: You should apply for "ESTA" if you are a citizen or eligible national of a Visa Waiver Program Country. Your travel needs to be 90 days or less.

The insurance covers Covid-19 testing for persons with symptoms compatible with the infection as a part of the medical treatment of a travel illness.
